TURBO AC'S
Biographie
Les new-yorkais font
du punk à l’ancienne depuis 1996 ou encore du surf punk’n’roll. Le groupe tire
son nom du gang fictif Turnbull A.C.'s apparaissant dans le film The Warriors
de Walter Hill. Le groupe est composé de kevin Cole (Guitare, Chant), Kevin
Prunty (batterie, chant), Mickael Dolan (Basse) est remplacé en 2006 par Tim
Lozada et Jer Duckworth a rejoint le groupe comme guitariste. The Turbo A.C.'s
est influencé par des groupes punks tels que SOCIAL DISTORTION et les SUPERSUCKERS .
Roger Miret d'AGNOSTIC FRONT et Blag Dahlia des DWARVES ont participé aux
albums de The Turbo A.C.'s.
Les musiciens nous
offrent toute la dynamique d’un groupe qui fait passer l’énergie avant la
complexité des compositions. De véritables boules de nerfs tous perfectos
cloutés balançant riffs assassins. Résolument pas prêts à raccrocher les guitares
cela fait maintenant 17 ans qu’ils existent.
